combat

Battles are 1v1 unless otherwise stated on a card and are decided by a simple stat check. During your Engage Phase you will declare which of your Heroes are Attacking and/or Using abilities. Then you Opponent will respond to those decisions by choosing how they will Defend.

In this example the Ileydrian Lancer has a higher ATK stat than Bringer Monk’s DEF stat, Lancer is the Winner and Bringer Monk is sent to the Infirmary.

In this example the Enlightened Artist has a Lower ATK stat than Battle Engineer’s DEF stat, Battle Engineer is the Winner. Both Heroes stay on the Field but Enlightened Artist remains activated until reset in it’s owner’s next Upkeep.

In this example the Iron Monger has an Equal ATK stat to 2nd Regiment Private’s DEF stat, In ties the Attacker wins so Iron Monger is the Winner and 2nd Regiment Private is sent to the Infirmary.
